Our Story

Welcome to Mom 'n 'em Coffee!

In 2015, brothers Tony and Austin Ferrari (known around town as The Ferrari Brothers) came up with this idea to give something back to their mother while they were living & working in San Francisco, and starving to move back to their hometown Cincinnati, Ohio.
The original idea for Mom ‘n ‘em Coffee was an airstream coffee bar, but due to city restrictions, they were unable to do such, so they decided to put it in an old house they purchased on the corner of Colerain and Bates Avenue in Camp Washington. Since the airstream idea took around 3 years to get off the ground, and still got denied by the city, the house was the last option.
The name “Mom ‘n ‘em” comes from the radio station 700 WLW, where their father use to listen almost every other day. One of the broadcasters would ask the other “Hey, how is your mom ‘n ‘em doing?”
Eventually the saying started flowing through the family and so it became a reality at the coffee shop. Mom ‘n ‘em is dedicated to Theresa Ferrari, Tony and Austin’s mother.
She worked hard raising her children and they never grew up with much. Tony and Austin just wanted to give back to their mother with something fun around a community of people, while helping build up an untouched unique neighborhood. Mom ‘n ‘em Coffee roasts all their coffee in house, and now has two locations in Cincinnati. At each shop you'll find pastries, breakfast items, coffee, tea, tinned fishes, retail wine and a few other alcoholic beverages.

We can't wait to have you come visit us, and see how Mom ‘n ‘em really is doing ❣️

Cheers!
