Our goal with this coffee was to bring back some of those unforgettable holiday memories.. Family gatherings, fresh cinnamon rolls, and that Red Ryder bb gun you always wanted, but never received! This coffee should feel like getting covered by the coziest blanket on the chilliest night, while smelling nothing but cinnamon!
Sebastian Ramirez is a legendary, prolific coffee farmer. He operates Finca El Placer in Quindio, Colombia, and specializes in experimental processing. His coffees are often viewed (in our eyes) as the golden goose! He produces truly captivating coffees that always have us scratching our heads (in the best way possible)
Young Producers; this coffee focuses on a handful of younger farmers in Antioquia & Cauca, Colombia. They use Sebastian's coffee a vessel to help facilitate growth on their own farms! It’s all about highlighting those who have made a deliberate choice about their lives. They have chosen passion over other options. In this community lot, they aim to share their mission and recruit new members to the program. By doing so, they continue to learn about other origins, stories, and challenges faced by coffee producers.
20% of this coffee is a cinnamon co-ferment from Sebastian Ramirez. Alone, this coffee is bright, expressive, spicey, and inherently cinnamon-forward!
The remaining 80% is from several young farmers, like we mentioned above, who are beginning their careers as coffee producers. All of these coffees are washed, and have tons of natural sweetness to balance out the nice and cozy cinnamon notes. ❣️
