Brought to us by our friends at Unblended, this lot contains both a cinnamon co-ferment from Sebastian Ramirez at Finca El Placer in Quindio, Colombia, and washed coffees from young producers in Antioquia & Cauca, Colombia!
Alongside showcasing Sebastian's incredible coffees, this coffee is a vessel for Unblended's young producer program! It is not just about supporting the youth; it’s about highlighting those who have made a deliberate choice about their lives. They have chosen passion over other options. In this Community Lot, they aim to share their mission and recruit new members to the program. By doing so, they continue to learn about other origins, stories, and challenges faced by coffee producers.
It has wonderful cinnamon aromatics, and in the cup you’ll find high natural sweetness with a soft mouthfeel, and intense notes of baking spices. We feel like kids again!
This coffee thrives with age.. Give it about a week or so (after the roast date) to rest before brewing! It will get better and better with time. ❣️
